Brand Photography Just Got a Whole Lot More Fun
Hi y’all!
For those who are new here, hello! My name is Elizabeth Strano and I’m your favorite Los Angeles brand photographer. I specialize in helping artists and entrepreneurs grow their reach, by providing visual assets that help tell their stories. Maybe you need new headshots, or dance portraits, or a full-scale branding photoshoot for your new personal training business, or post-production studio, or pop-up bakery. Regardless of your medium, your art, your voice, and what you bring to the table is important!
It feels absolutely surreal to be embarking on this brand-new journey. Talk about diving off the deep end! I’m jumping into my photography career with both feet, so I understand how scary taking the leap and investing in yourself can be.
Yes, new endeavors are scary, and investing in yourself is huge - but when in doubt, smile it out, just like my girl Dottie here. You got this!
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve blogged - 2020, to be exact. It was mid-pandemic, and as an out-of-work bartender, I decided to write a beverage blog with accompanying recipes to keep my cocktail-creating skills sharp. I’ve always enjoyed writing (fun fact: I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and in Dance) and having an outlet to create and express myself during a Really Scary Time™ in the world was hugely therapeutic.
While a LOT has changed since then (although… *gestures vaguely around* it’s still a Really Scary Time™ in the ol’ US of A) and my cocktail blog is no more, I do miss writing about the things I love - so I’m trying something different and launching a blog here as The Girl With Glass. Welcome, friends!

This time around, there’s no telling what the topics will be - always somehow related to photography, but it may be covering dance portraiture one week, a glimpse behind the scenes the next, and a fun cocktail recipe from a food photography shoot the week after that. Given that headshot photography & brand photography for creatives in all industries are my specialties, there’s a lot to talk about here!
